Similarities of regulatory focus among mothers and daughters of different ages

The purpose of this study was to examine the similarity in chronic regulatory focus (promotion/prevention) among mothers and daughters young, middle, older ages. A survey conducted using shortened 10- item form Japanese version promotion/prevention scale, 77 sets grandmothers (77.79 ± 5.61 years), their (49.26 4.12 granddaughters (20.17 3.89 years) were studied as a part analysis. I compared scores on scale between (older age group) (younger group). results show that strength daughters’ promotion prevention similar mothers’ younger group. On other hand, only suggest may be mothers, they age, strategies adapt changes loss risk.
